Didn't like the colour so decided to change it.

In all seriousness there was a brucey bonus - I found that the cabbie has a 6 CD multichanger stashed in the corner of the boot - to go along with the single CD feed in the cabin. Top jolly bolox or what!

I have treated the leather, bought some megs ragtop treatment and removed the worst of the stains. Mechanically, the lose rear hanger was replaced with one of those 8 quid ebay jobs (least it doesn't bounce around), oil, plugs and coolant service. Suprising what a new set of plugs does to the engine - a lot more pep (though I have also taken to using V-power on it).

Swapped the strut brace off the SSB (will get another one later) and the chrome silver comets.

The springs at HLM were suprise in more ways than 1, as they were OEM C70 sports springs, the effect has been quite radical.

You be the judge - I am in 2 minds. Is the back now too low?

it needs a set of gas struts for the boot lid - so if anyone has some that they are not using then I can give them a good home.

Best price so far is 60 quid each for new ones.

This looks nice I may drop mine a bit but I live in SPEED BUMP CITY so not too much. I witness DAILY all the Porsches and *MW's GOING GRRAAUNCH over them

I have noticed in the sun that I reckon the Cab has had a new door and a blow over SO might go for a black respray! I fancy the SPARKLY black though with the candy flake in - looks awesome at night! OR might go of the Fast n Furious OUTRAGEOUS LIME GREEN and a green hood!

hi wobbly...mines lowered 40mm on apex yellow springs and fitted with volvo strut brace with new shocks and h/d meyle drop links and it rides fine...firm but not uncomfortable.....strut brace vastly improves scuttle shake
