v40 turbo upgrade?

Can you (reasonably) easily put a more powerful turbo in a 2002 V40 19t? Id so what would be a good one to go with?

Yes - need a T5 exhaust manifold cut down and welded up. Will need to modify the oil return pipe work. You possibly need the cooling pipes. Then a modified exhaust.

I have an 18t on mine.

Can you recommend a good down pipe and cat back exhust for this car? I have found a cat back at eurosport tuning but its not very powerful. Also, can you link me to these injectors you use? Interested in that. Hard to find v40 perf parts in canada!

My apologies I don't have specific part numbers to be able to give you as I bought a car already done, then all I did was to transfer from one to another.

The injectors are commonly referred to as VXR injectors - again I Have no idea on specifics.

I did have a BSR exhaust on my other T4. That car gave out 226BHP.

Hey I upgraded my S40 T4 with the B4194 but do not us it now so want to break it up. So I have a IHI turbo which is good for 500hp. I was running 360hp. I also might have some injectors. I also have a tubular exhaust manifold I could sell.

It was built to race so no a beast if you are a racer. I had an associate build the manifold for me. The car is currently complete and would make a great track day car but if I can't find anyone to buy it I will then break it up as it has a Volvo M56 dog box which was designed by Volvo for the S60 Challenge a few years ago ...

hehe understood, I see it.....very nice a 480 turbo then a T4.........I have a poorly 480 turbo that needs a replacement engine...and an MOT failure T4, so I am trying to make one car out of them.

Relevant to this thread.....what management system do you use in the T4...

I have a Motec M4 ECU that I could sell .... Also Motec traction control that I can could sell as well ...
