    Flat spot

Since putting my engine back in the car I've noticed that it seems a bit flat and doesn't pull as hard as it used to, it also has a noticeable flat spot. There are no warning lights, everything is as far as I know connected correctly. Any thoughts on what it could be?

Don't forget, Craig, that engine is supposed to be a rebuilt unit and will probably still be a little tight.

Doesn't explain the flat spot though.

Sadly not Simon, think I have one somewhere but I don't know how accurate it is. Some little ££££s in an Evo tried it on last night in the middle of the town centre, I had a little play but the flat spot made itself more than noticeable. As I didn't fancy getting pulled (and I'm still breaking the engine in) I didn't go to far as the little turd wanted a full on road race

Well the engines now well and truly run in and the miss/ hesitation/ hiccup (whatever you want to call it) is still there. I have now however worked out that it only happens on full throttle, at part throttle the cars fine. I've ordered a new set of plugs and a dizzy cap as neither looked that good, hopefully that'll cure it. There's no warning lights on and it drives fine if youre just pottering about.
