Good drills buddy, coming along nicely.
Must admit I'm a little jealous of your garage set up

    I dropped a socket

Yeah so i dropped a socket and this happened

i didnt have to go that far but i decided to remove the headlights, indicators, grill to clean up and found a few bits that needed attention so just kept pulling bits off. Decided whilst i had a bit of extra space id do the pcv system which was choked!

then decided i cant be arsed sticking it back together so went out on the bike for the afternoon/evening

until tomorrow ill get back to it

Tried some new shoes on today and planned to change the belt but ran into a snag with a 45 torx bit and me not having one!

    new shoes

genuine cam shaft locking tool (not that you need to)

and found a few oil leaks!

and couldn't get the bolt out the tensioner as my t45 socket was to long and im missing a t45 bit from my set, so ive ordered yet another bit set!

also started cleaning and polishing the bumper and gave my bike a quick oil service. not as productive a day as id hoped!

Not updated this in a while, cars now MOT'd and on the road. Going great apart from blowing off a boost pipe on a dual carriage way. Stuck some coilovers on her and she handles 9x better!

Back End is still abit too high, so been recommended to use the original spring seats and do away with the adjusters.

Shes going great, looks the part now too!

Everyone who has a turbo needs to experience a boost pipe coming off lol

To be honest the ride is a lot better than i expected, and it has certainly tightened the car up a bit, the old suspension looked to be 20 years old, and very floaty. For the price of the coilovers, the seem ample. time will tell i suppose but the build quality appears to be ok. And it was a longer warranty than some of the other more expensive ones! How long have you had yours on for and how are they holding up?

Mine have been on over 2 years now, TBH I haven't had any problems with them, it's just the ride's so harsh, they are great on a track though.

MY old suspension must have been really bad then lol i dont think the rides too bad at all. That been said i have been in some rock solid slammed to the deck cars, and minis so this suspension is almost luxury for me! Im told to stick the original spring seat in the back to get it lower, it has a very face down, arse up look going on!

Just take the adjuster out of the back, and it'll level up nicely.
