Quick update on project....

Leather seats are in and drivers seat wired in...

Also put the premium stereo I had in too, with original Alpine 6 disc changer to the rear, also have Baileys DV26 and BLACK egg crate grille to go on shortly.....

Sorted the clocks as the mileage stopped and it was jammed......

UPDATE:

2 Hours after having her on the road it would appear I have now got a possible bent conrod. Went so so well and then started a really bad ticking noise

Engines already out being fully rebuilt (no pics as of yet)

Long time since update........ Car is finally finished and owes me more than I even care to think about. BUT it has been truly worth every penny!!! Freshly rebuild B5234T3, honed with forged conrods and AE pistons, new bearings all round, skimmed head, every new gasket, new everything including angled 16t and 3in downpipe with sports cat, some of you may know what I was up too.....

Running RICA and 350 injectors. Currently on 1.3 bar..... I also have a air/fuel ratio gauge and boost gauge to monitor things.

Well she has a HKS boost controller yet to be turned on.... other than that new wheels and tyres at some point.... want to be careful of the auto box tbh....

Looks brilliant, I never saw the original bent conrod post... any idea what caused it? Big pity but then you've certainly done a great job on bringing it back!

I got told that to bend a standard conrod it would be caused by high torque (over 350 ft/lb) I actually bent 2 lol..... I didnt post any conrod pics I dont think ....
