    Steering Problem

Got an interesting problem with the car since I rebuilt it.

Power steering was fine before I removed the engine, power steering has never been removed from the subframe and the fluid and resovoir was left as it was. Now the car is back together again the power steering seems to be fine turning to the right but if you stop and suddenly turn to the left there seems to be a momentary stiffness before it lets you turn to the left. Doesn't happen going the other way, just right to left. Any ideas?

Fluid level is still ok, could it be air in the system as the pumps been down on the floor with the rack while the subframe was off the car.
