Where the hell is this from?

Just been having a poke around the t5.
I noticed this little fused spade isn't connected to anything & I'd say where I found it, it's not been connected a while.
I've hunted high & low & I can't see where from.
Any ideas boys?

That's obviously someones crappy after market add on for something. Check there's not power in it and just put it away until you work out what it's attached to.

I've just spent about an hour of my precious time (well my works, lol) looking for anything it can plug into.
Does look like a tidy job where its spliced into the loom though.
Who told you I have neons & rocket boosters?!

My 1998 v70 had the same thing I just cut it off and nothing changed I think it was from what was left of a hands-free kit .

If that's the MAF it's attached to,
Then it's an aftermarket fuel saving / Power boost fooler chip.
It convinces the MAF the air is a different temp / mass, so the fuel amount gets altered.

It wasn't attached to the maf mate or I would of thought the same.
Dodgy wire now sold along with car.
