    Steering Wheel Removal

I am looking to change the steering wheel in the V70 but I can't see how you get the airbag off to get to the retaining nut.

Any clues would be appreciated and also what size is the nut.

    Thanks.

There are 2 torx 25 bolts holding the airbag on, if you take the top part of the steering column off, they're easier to access, but you'll need a long torx bit, as they're recessed into the back of the steering wheel. I believe the main but holding the wheel on is 18mm, and on my C70 was very tight, I needed a breaker bar on it to get it off. BTW don't forget to disconnect the battery before removing the airbag.
