Fluctuating PSI levels S70R Rica 310

    Hello,

I've noticed since replacing the leaky intercooler on my R that the boost levels fluctuate between 12-16psi. It's quite strange as at first it peaked at 14 then instantly dropped to 12psi. It now seems to hold higher boost but sometimes fluctuates up and down but there is no noticeable reduction in power. But it held 16psi all through 3rd once and it pulled very very strong!

I have a MBC in the boot so I may stich that on to see if it can hold constant PSI which may point to a faulty BCV.

Any other ideas before I do this? Never really been a fan on those things.

    Thanks

EDIT- I should add that it has a Forge wastegate fitted!

Dodgy gauge or boost leak starting to open up? If it was my car I would thrash it mercilessly until something broke more obviously, then fix it

Might be that the actuator is too tight.

Keep adjusting the wastegate actuator down in small increments to see if you find a sweet spot where it's just right.

If the actuator is to tight surely it would over boost? 16psi seems about right for a mapped R.

I can't see any codes when it's scanned but it might be worth a go.
