Any Ideas....!

Talking to a mate of mine in the pub last night...Hes got a N reg 850 2.5 20V,
But it wont start, Turns over ok but wont fire up. He called out the AA & they said there was no power going to the spark plugs & leads & they could'nt do anything....! Anybody got any ideas...Think someone had a similar prob not long ago , but can't find it through a search.

Any advice much appreciated. DB.

Had same prob with a BMW ... was going fine then stopped at the shops , came out, would only turn over, replaced teh ecu and it started straight away...worthwhile getting a loan of one to try first before you haul it apart

cam belt position senser had that go on me in holland this month is the engine management light on?

Has it got an aftermarket imobiliser? Mine died that way..one of the circuits to imob is the sparks etc. Check the fuse box as well.

he had it trailered away to the garage...!looks like it's gonna could cost a few quid to put right.
