What psi should the turbo be set at?

Anyone have the correct psi that the turbo should be set at on a 96 850 T5 auto?

Actuator pressure should be about 4psi, then reading about 10psi on boost, standard setting

    Ta very much.
Thinking of sticking a bleed valve on, as the boost has gone off the boil, easier that adjusting the wastgate length?

You might want to replace the BCS and vaccum pipes, these are notorious for leaking boost pressure when old.

Take a look in this thread, I found 10% of my missing boost just by replacing the first two vacuum pipes to BCS, they were crumbly and soft, completely wrecked after 19 years service!

Depending on how much boost you want........you should have to adjust the wastegate as well otherwise the MBC is at max.!
