    I'd be interested to know what you/Jim think of it also, how it helps with torque steer....cheaper than a proper LSD (and gearbox to match, for me)

    well mine doesn't torque steer at all now, can you pm me the length of that damper and I'll see what I can do. (the damper length question is to both Jim and James)

    I'm told by the forum's 400-series expert (thank u, Steve Sideways) that the distance below is approximately 205 mm (between bolt centres)



    This was with the damper installed so compressed length.

    I'm all over this idea lads, I'm in the process of getting a program made up in work to make them on the water jet.
    I have sourced a damper off a hood on a cnc machine but I'm not sure if it's too stiff..
    I've got a vast selection of rubber bushings so will have a play when I fit it to try to remove the ps pump vibration you spoke of Colin.
    Be great to rid my car of the torque steer.

    I'm happy to help if I can with relation to getting the brackets made but materials may be an issue.
