    P2 v70 and S60 exhaust differences?

Anybody know off the top of they're head what's different between the two cars exhaust systems. Going to offer up my Ferrita from a v70 to the s60 this afternoon to see where modifications need to be made.

Im assuming it's tailpipe length that's more of an issue than anything. I've tried searching everywhere but can't find anything :-/

There is just the length difference but it from where it meets the down pipe to the back box around 50mm or so ,just undo the clamps and slide the pipes in a bit.

    Oh nice one!

Thought there was going to be more to it than that, I was expecting to be getting the grinder and the welder out!

Oh well, I could well be fitting it today! :-)

    It's on! :-)

There's a slight difference in where it comes out, it's a bit lower and to the left. Enough for it to look a bugger but not the end of the world.

Going to either heat it up at work and bend it a bit or get in to turrif tyres and get the to change the tailpipe to an oval one.

Sound wise it's quiet, give it a few revs and it will pop. See what it sounds like after a journey and it's got some heat in the pipes but overall I'm happy with it! :-)

I know when I changed mine from the S60 to the V70 it was very easy to adjust it to get it to fit just nice.
At least it's on just a shame you can't adjust it so you are happy with it.

It's not too bad, length wise it's actually alright, it's just the bend at the tailpipe needs a pulling in a bit more than anything.

Never got any pictures because I was fitting it in the snow....... Yes I did say snow!

After a bit of heat in the pipe there's definateley a note to it' it's subtle which is perfect.
Overall I'm happy with it, for the price I paid and ease to fit I'm happy with just needing a tweek to finish off

This was just after I'd finished.

Ended up with a few inches altogether! :-/

I took a picture of the correct S60 rear section that might help you to cut and shut the longer V70 pipe:

    Cheers Don.

I was actually going to cut a wedge out of the inside radius and pul it in and weld it back up. Because the blow torch had run out of gas

But still thinking about going in and having the tailpipe changed to an oval. Think it's blends in a bit better and not so noticeable

They're not too far out though between the two though are they? And the sound is spot on!
