    boost problem and oil leak? help please

    As above really bad oil leak from the back of engine up top end and the car is also suffering from boost problems if i dont boot the car and just drive like an old man there doesnt seem to be an oil leak ? Got me puzzled after just putting new plugs leads cap roter arm and coil on her

    Could be the boost pipe off the turbo.

    yep, the joiner might even have a split in it, mine split last week.

    A bit of oil in the pipes after the turbo is normal but loads could mean the oil is getting past the seals in the turbo.

    There isnt oil in the pipes well it wasnt anyways il have a check through week and let you no cheers

    only leaks oil when engines seen boost, can drive all over the county off boost and its dry, sees boost then it leaks..

    Sounds like the turbo oil return pipe seal, got the same problem with mine, when on boost the oil will fire past the seal, and up the back of the engine.

    Wel just like to say thanks put new gaskets on return pipe there was a crack on the gasket sorted now no more oil leaks just need to sort the boost problem out does the actuaters ever brake on the 850s?
