    Baby wipes

Just wondered if anyone has ever experimented with baby wipes as a interior quick detailer sort of thing.

I've recently noticed that they seem to be awesome for cleaning anything and everything around the house, getting grubby toddler hand stains off of the leather sofas and other materials. And at ~1p a wipe they've got to be better value than most fancy car products. I could easily give them a go in the Volvo myself, and will at some stage but just thought I'd ask if anyone else has ever tried it.

Coincidence, but I've been thinking of using them for removing bird poo. Real problem at the moment round here. I have used baby wipes to remove split coffee and similar from my interior.

they dont really work for inside the car, they not quite wet enough or strong enough to get into the pattern on the plastics and you cant see what has been missed till its dried and then it leaves a moisturiser reasidue

Like I say, I thought about it but didn't actually do it. Still getting the sponge and bucket out to remove the stuff. I'm sure that I did see bird poo wipes at Costco though. Starlings at the moment are bombing our cars...............

plain baby wipes are good at removing the slippery silicone spray finish that second hand car dealers insist on spraying all over the interior plastics of the vehicle.
