    PCV change

    Hi all,

Anyone know how much roughly it costs to change a PCV system on a 1999 V70 2.4 petrol.

Rufe at FRF can supply the bits for just over two hundred.

    Cheers

On my pre me7 cars, I think fitted by my local indy it was around the £180-200 price range.

So it was a bit of a struggle was it? LOL. I'm thinking of doing my 9-5 Aero, but that looks quite easy compared to the Volvo.

That is a lot more than I thought, with the bits that is in the £400 range, which is probably not far off what it is worth in total. I have unfortunately spent a small fortune sorting out the ETM issue in the past few months so I am loath to kiss all that off as it is a car I know and serves our needs at the moment.

You won't want to know that the ME7 one is harder to do than the pre ME7 one then.

Martin's done it on his (wife's) V70, so he should be able to give you some pointers.

I've got a fairly new PCV kit up for grabs if anyone wants it? it was fitted to my other engine for a short while before I decided to try and swap the head (and kinda killed it)

TC will it fit a late 99 V70 140 bhp petrol, if so how much do you want for it?

No idea I'm afraid bud, it's off a 97. You'd still need to buy an inlet manifold gasket but all the breather pipes are still soft and the oil seperator is clean as a whistle. If it fits then £50 delivered?

I'm assuming it's for a pre ME7 Craig, if so I'll take it.
