1996 850R code 231

Evening all had a small issue with the 850 this week was sat in traffic when the eml came on the only fault code i can get is 231 fuel trim rich/lean the car isnt boosting anyware near as hard mid to top end and the exhaust notes changed alot plus its ticking over smoother which it used to hunt every so often after long periods of ticking over Engine had a new pvc and vac lines when it was changed after a brief inspection of pipes etc all seems good has anyone else had this code?
