big over fueling problem need to sort for the gaydon meet!

hey right ill cut tot the chase, thee 855r is over fueling big time!

i have tryed 3 fuel rails and regulators

ive checked for vac and air leaks with easy start

    ive changed the injectors twice

so after the engine rebuild when the car started the injectors started ticking very loudly which they didnt before and the replacments still tick the same.

the plugs are instantly sutting up very badly, now the other thing i have noticed is that when you just prime the system or turn the car off there is no preasure in the rail. there is only preasure when the car is running as soon as the engine turns off the preasure instantly disapears.
i dont know if this is suposed to happen but on all three reg's i removed the return line and primed the system and fuel came gushing out all over the bulk head!

it has thrown 2 codes which i have cleared and havnt come back which are

231: long term fuel mixture to rich at part load stage
212: heated oxygen sensor signal absent or faulty

now the car had a masive smoking problem due to oil and before i bought it the middle injector was stuck open which immi fixxed.

but the injector problem contaminated the cat, so it now has a de-cat on it. I has since tryed the cat again and it is defanatly blocked and contaminated.

so maybe the lambda has been buggered by all the crap it has been subjected to?????

please help im despratly trying to fix this before the gaydon meet this weekend, at this rate i wont be able to come as it is un drivable and i dont want to damage the rebuilt engine.

Could be a faulty lambda sensor or coolant temperature sensor.

Glad you posted your findings. So many people fix the problem and never report back. So frustrating when doing a google search!
