    C70 roof proofing/maintenance

    Hi all,

Has anybody got any recommendations for the above. The roof material itself is in pretty good order, no moss, rips etc but I want to give it a clean and proof it.

The guy I bought it off gave me some autoglym products which appear to do the job.

Are there any other products that anyone might have used that they can recommend.

Strangely enough one another forum a guy said after cleaning he used Thomsons Brick sealant on his and the rain runs off it.

    Regards to all.

I had mine done by a mobile valeter last year but have bought some Renovo cleaner, sealer and colour restorer as it seems to be recommended by a lot of rag top owners

There are quite a few soft top cleaning and proofing kits, try Halfrauds on line, i have a C70 soft too that sits under Lime trees , my neighbour has a Saab convertible . She cleaned and proofed the hood on hers last year and it still looks great and repels water. Mine looks disgusting , all the sticky crap from the trees gets into the roof fabric.
It cleans off quite well but I am definitely going to clean and seal it this year , it works.

Intend to do mine quite soon so it would be good to learn how you got on with the choice of products you've used. Managed to remove slight green stuff by using a tampico brush and warm water.
