I just got off the phone to FRF Volvo, I'm now 300 odd quid lighter,! Oh well least it will have all new belts, tensioners, water pump, filters, plugs etc ready for the summer.

You won't have to replace them for a while once done either firebolt peace of mind £300 smackers is a lot gsf or euro car parts would have been cheaper mate. The main stealers are expensive

I was just going through the history & found it last had a cambelt in 2006, so it's definitely due a replacement. I usually have issues when using local Auto-factors, I always end up taking something back or it is just not quite right. I didn't think the cambelt kit was a bad price at 90 odd quid with new idler & tensioner.

Yes that's a good price firebolt I paid about that for a gates kit a tad over because I replaced the water pump aswell. While they had it stripped down.

Yeah always very helpful! Only problem is I have another list of parts to order now.

Just found 1 fog light smashed, it still has the crappy Ph1 washer jets, forgot how bad they are. I need Ph1 top mounts to fit my KW's as the FK's currently fitted are Ph2.

Then onto the brakes, the standard brake don't inspire confidence! maybe it's the current pads but I feel my fully loaded Transit's brakes better.
    I'm currently looking at:
K sport or D2 not convinced about the quality though!
Wilwood, I know someone who ran them & they were not upto track use. Seem to be used a lot on Drag cars.
Brembo's, I can get an adapter kit for about £100, already have a pair of calipers. Only thing that bothers me is how the pedal will feel with the size of the Brembo pistons & the Volvo master cylinder.

I don't think it's turbo related I've given everything a good clean checked all the pipes, but my temp sensor has been playing up of late today it's right in the red (needle) and is overheating aswell fan on. I reckon it's either overfueling or not getting enough fuel. Causing the sluggishness

All sorted car is running great now cost me the pretty price of £20 for a new sensor and £6 for some electrical spray, still misfiring at idle but not too bad maybe dirty injector or bunged up egr it hasn't been off in the lifetime off the car I don't think.

That is officially moon mileage, the mean distance from the Earth to the centre of the moon is said to be 230,000 miles. Plant a Cornish rebel flag while you are there Pat. And give us a wave.
