Used to take the caravan and go up Thruxton each year to watch that. Had a friend who was mates with Rob Collard and got free paddock passes too. Hardly have that time free nowadays.

Took my alloys for balancing after work ready to fit, then found the new spigot rings have a bevelled edge for some reason stopping my wheel sitting against the hub. So another few days for the replacements to arrive before I can fit them

New radiator arrived, found it lent against the front door! Thanks UPS for the safe delivery. Lucky one of the Transit driving Magpies didn't weigh it in.

Got a 400 mile round trip to Liverpool Sunday to pick up my new interior

It's been a long day, up at 3am to get to Liverpool for 8am, removed interior from Evo 5 by 8:30 & back on the road. Lots of coffee, Mc Donalds breakfast's etc & back by 1pm. Then remove seats from my S40 & in with the Evo seats. All fits fine, just need to properly secure the rear seat back as the fixings are slightly different & a centre seat belt anchor as the Evo's don't have one.
Started to take photo' & my phone camera breaks Got one though, will post more when I can.

This maybe why I'm still single! It's surprising how much lower you sit in the car now. I've had to drop, the steering wheel right down.

One of my blokes has a vauxhall Signum with the same problems you are having Kieran , this thing has a 3 litre Isuzu engine , and he has scrubbed out the egr , and still hesitating , they are trying some new air pressure valve thingys , I will ask him how he gets on.
The grunt it has when its working is unreal, 3 litres . Lol

Looking good Kieran, I have to clean mine on the dirty derv one day.. Atm I am giving it an Italian tune up every now and then,, lol. I gave gatos a drake 2 tuning box to try on his, but he is busy atm with fixing other members x40's to put it on. It would be good to see the fuel/power results from it.. Would have fitted it to mine, but its on 230k plus now, she is a plodder (got too look after these Renault motors lol ) and would like to see 250k on the old derv.. Done the egr before on my old 02 derv.. But need to mot the T4 first, then ££££ around the egr on the dirty derv...

It's not a pleasnt job either pat I cleaned my intake aswell, I thought about getting one if those tuning boxes but they can't give you that much more bhp. Plus people say it mucks youre car up etc etc. I'm having a back box made up for mine mate should be able to pick it up in a few days more free flowing and a nice tip on the end
