I'll plug it back in tommorow matt but thanks seems to have done the trick I had a feeling it would be something daft like that just need to find one now lol, plus turbos give warning I've never had one just pack up and you can hear it hissing away. I need to get a turbo for it because it proberly has a shelf life like everything, do are diesels have a idle control valve of sorts and where is it if it does I've got a lumpy idle to cure

How long you had the rough idle? Diesels have an Air ICV as of sorts. That top hose that connects to the black box on top of the inlet manifold I BELIEVE is like an ICV - If the Idle issue started around the time your boost issues started I'd go for them being related to the N75....

Otherwise your looking at injectors starting to clog up! Run some injector cleaner through if replacing the N75 doesn't cure your rough idle too.

Thanks again matt I suspected it was the injectors tbh causing the rough idle, and they didn't happen at the same time the rough idle has been intermittent some days perfect others bad, the turbo issue came on all of a sudden. But problem solved I think thanks mate some sound advice as always

Had Spetsnaz_GSh from the VOC forum coming over today. Fitted his cruise control, but were missing the stupid bloody wiring for the cut-off switches, so could not test it in the end. Hopefully he can find it at home and he will have cruise tomorrow. Tired now and ready for bed..

No miracles today though..... Only thing that definitely worked, was the replacement driver's mirror and mirror motor. Will know tomorrow if the CC is working fine

Put a new mast on my roof aerial, from the same seller that sold the rubber roof grommet. This one has a coil on the outer unlike the one that came off.

I bought an aluminium radiator for my T4, looking at a new set of hoses as going for waterless coolant. Anyone used Do88 hoses? Are they good quality as I've seen some really crap silicone hoses.

It's made by Evans, I like the idea of it as I don't do a lot of mileage & it doesn't corrode like water based coolant.

I've seen this stuff before, Its a good idea as you effectively never have to replace your coolant again, Just make sure your block is bone dry though as it'll cause issues otherwise. I had planned on doing it when I eventually get away to getting a new engine for the diesel to refurb. Waterless coolant going in that one! The F9K's are prone to rusting really badly if the coolant isn't changed regularly and the right mix in!
