Aye I was thinking of the Shark's service light. Wait til I get back I'll post the doobery down to you, didn't have time to sort it out before leaving. In the mean time, let's have a musical interlude:

Funnily enough, I saw Mike Joyce at the football on boxing day!

No worries about the light though, I just put my fags in front of it

Nice one, as long as you didn't ask him for Morrissey's autograph

Afternoon all - Quick update was that I tried the service light reset with Barcelona Joe from the forum (he has an 80k miler 850R that he's owned from 1 year old it looked fantastic), he tried with the Draper tool 69007 but unfortunately with no success on either setting.

When I get my hands on an old laptop with XP installed, plus a cable, I'll have a go with FCR

Otherwise I'll have to get attached to that warm orange glow for 2 minutes on every start-up, on the plus side it was balanced out recently as a headlight bulb blew, literally fell apart, which meant there was the same orange glow from both sides of the dash when you started.

At least a quick trip to the petrol station to pick up a bulb sorted that one

just sent you a PM fella. The reset tool I have is a "Volvo Service Reset Tool SIR V", maybe that is worth a go when I'm back. It's worth mentioning for anyone reading that the instructions for this say you need to repeat the procedure up to 7 times

The car is out on loan tomorrow, heading for Liverpool. My pal got fired & went back to the UK to work for a bit so he's going to use this one. Still haven't had chance to swap the brakes over. I have the RX-7 to sort out ready for possibly selling & also a new toy to play with in the form of a nice green, low mileage S60R

it's a 'known' car mate - from Dream3r on here. But I do tend to buy blind due to being away most of the time. I much prefer to buy from forum members as in my experience it is a more honest process than Fleabay or similar

Some kerbing to the alloys there...never mind I guess 205 width tyres on 7.5J wheels was a bad idea, my pal who was using the car offered to pay for a refurb but I wouldn't take any money for stuff like that

To be fair, you're lucky they didn't get nicked being that close to Liverpool

Shame about the kurbing like, that's why I'm very select about who I lend stuff to.
My thing is more to buy people whole cars for them to ruin.

    Yep could have been worse...

...like the time I let my pal ride my prized KE100 motorbike around a car park, who then smashed into a wall resulting in many many sad little pieces
