    Scratching the itch

Now I've finished the T5R I have always wanted a fast rwd Volvo the plan is to get the 240 up to 400whp
Ive just picked up a nice 240 GLT it needs some body work but is in pretty good condition and a good base to start off with.
The plan is to first sort the body work out and alter/modify some structural points.
A rough list of what Im going to use is
2.3 fk 16v with rods and pistons
    Garret t35 turbo
Borg Warner World Class T5 gearbox
for the time being 1041 k locker diff if it holds up ill keep it if not ill take the plunge and get a gripper or lsd
    Custom inlet and exhaust manifolds
    Standalone engine management
and lots of other bits and bobs
Here a few pics of what I've collected up to now

Haha, how did you get the intercooler and flange so quickly, I could have sworn they were sitting in my conservatory. Looking forward to seeing it all come together.

I'd personally look into a Holset, a HX/HY35 would suit your spec nicely.
What injectors are you going to run? Been having a nightmare trying to figure out what injectors I need for 300whp.
Can't wait to see this progress!

As he lives up north, and it's reading less than -20, I think you're probably right.

It will be near enough the same spec as next doors saff cosworth with t35 what ever injectors or bigger than what he's using he's running 28psi of boost and getting 370whp so with the added 300cc if I can get to 380whp ill be happy.
I've never really looked into holset turbos but that Garret t35 he's got is mad no lag and just keeps on pulling so ill be having some of that
