Any ideas what this is for?

Was having a blow in my exhaust repaired, while on the ramp I noticed this plug hanging down at the front drivers side, any ideas what it's for/where it should be?

I though maybe a temp sensor of some sort.

    Thanks in advance

Could be for fog lights, temp sensor or possibly headlight wiper motor.

outside temp sensor is passenger side
head light wiper motor plug is brown.
    more than likely the fogs.
some unused plugs get blank ends in, I would think to protect the terminals.

As JT said, it's just a blanked off plug.
