Who does there mapping my s60 t5 with a k24 got 318whp and 304 ft/lb of torque with just a 3" cat back, meth injection and a ported head cant wait to see what the downpipe and intercooler have done to change things, but seriously its a nice drop in package but for that money you can get a gt30 and spend a bit fitting and mapping it to reach better than those figures and still have some change spare for a full tank of petrol and a slap up meal.

Myabe contact Dreamer on here/T5D5? I was referrring to Thomas Alsterfalk (from TME), he can either map them or knows someone who can

Thomas was going to do for me a 10% E85 map for my S60R but I fell on hard times

    Some confusion here.

Thomas Alsterfalk runs TME and designs and develops exhaust systems. He is the uncle of Marco Alsterfalk whose business is MTE and who I have represented here in the UK for some 18 years now. I have Marco's MTE software that he has written to run IPD's new turbo available at sensible prices.

I am also about to check with IPD as to what price I can get their turbo.... I have stocked their ARBs for many years.

No confusion from me, I sent and Thomas mapped the standard ECU in my S70 T5, which is now with Steve Sideways on this forum. Thomas was also going to provide a mapped ECU for my S60R. Whether or not Thomas was actually doing the mapping, I don't know, but his signature is on what is now Steve's ECU.

I've got to say though if the car (any car) has many mods, live mapping much more preferred - for example my S70R had a 'T5D5 community map', which I understand was completed on a live basis for Yosser when he owned the car. IMHO, it doesn't matter how experienced Marco or Thomas are, if they've never seen the set up on External Errors S60 then the mapping cannot be taking account of all his modifications, which may or may not have an effect on the final outcome.

The map that Thomas provided for me was for a very specific set up - 16T, auto box and full TME exhaust, no other mods.

Thanks jamesy I run a Dreamer map my self I was referring to IPD stage 2 k24 map and the fact I was making more than that without an uprated IC and just a cat back as stage 2 usually means uprated ic and full exhaust system.

It is quite correct to say that if you have changed various physical components you will only get the best out of any car if the software you buy has been developed for exactly those modifications. In that respect it is sensible to get the cart and horse in the right order unless you have a software supplier on hand who is local and can provide software specifically written for that particular car.

With regard to MTE stuff I can really only offer their various stages of tune... 1,2 and 3 that require you to fit specific exhaust components and ultimately maybe specific bigger injectors and where necessary very good quality intercoolers to get the full beans.

Some years ago Marco was a frequent visitor, staying with me and undertaking a lot of bespoke work on the road and at Bruntingthorpe, however enlargement of his family has made that quite difficult of late so, except in some situations, I have to stick to offering only his bread and butter stuff.

Any reason it couldn't be used on an 850?

Woa not bad for 1.1 (ish) bar of boost. Did you get a print out that you can send me or have I seen it already, can't remember sorry!?

    Sorry OT.

The whole package looks expensive, turbo looks shiney though , no built-in DV I see either. It will be good to see some figures/feedback on it, It's good to see it complete, seems like 7 years since they announced it.

That was pre tweak before the kl racing Intercooler and 3" downpipe I think I sent you a copy of the printout from HLM it made 318 whp/342.5 bhp with 411.8NM of torque . I'm just doing a few bits and pieces that are coming up to their service periods on the car at the moment then I'll get it on a Rolling Road and see what its making now, i'll send you a printout when I get it. I'm hoping for around the 360ish bhp figure but tbh since having the gripper diff fitted im loving the handling aspects of the car a lot more now and being able to keep the power on round the corners is fun.
