S60 & V70 RTI removal from dashboard satellite navigation unit.

Very easy to remove the unit from the dashboard.

First thing is to remove the mesh trim, all you need is a bone trim tool something wide and flat / thin just poke it in the gap between the two.
As it's held in place by 4 spring clips.

Then the unit is just screwed to the dash by 4 torx screws.( not the 4 that hold the speaker in place it's ok to leave them in place )

Then the unit will just pull out,but if it's hard to come out it will be due to something I would call a big blob of blue tack volvo style.

You can just see a blue mark at the bottom of the screen box that's the blue tack type stuff just to stop it rattling in the dashboard.
