    jobs completed this week.

Had the new old tdi mot'd last week. Failed on rear brake efficiency. So new cable,New shoes, and pads and the old girl is good for the next12 months. While I was at it I replaced the heater fan and lookedinto why the heater control would not direct to windscreen. The control panel was busted so put a replacement from my other car. Still no joy as the diverted flap to feet was seized. A few gentle words and all is now good. Rippedmy hands to bits though.

Hi there. Are you talking about the heat control or the direction control? I'm not aware of any difference in flow between driver and passenger windscreen.

Is there a temperature difference between driver and passenger sides as you can tweek the cables on the heater box. You will know if the temp dial does not rotate from fully cold to fully hot.
