    If he's only off for a month he could be back any day now or do you get 2 months for a second infringement ??

    I can't help you with the H7 vs H7R HID question for main beam, but I know a lot of people don't retrofit HIDs in a main beam at all due to their warm up time, which means you can't use the main beam to flash other motorists. As an alternative they use top quality halogens like Philips Xtreme Vision +130 or Osram Nightbreaker Unlimiteds which are pretty white 'n' brite compared to standard halogens. Just a thought.

    I run them in the mains as well, you tend to get a quick burst when you first turn them on so people notice when you try & flash anyway
