The C30, and headlights were both sourced off of ebay. I was lucky with the headlights, as a member on here tipped me off about them, though you can get new ones from Parts for Volvo:

best bet on the exhaust is a custom as you can tailor the look and sound
check out my ginge project thread and there should still be a vid on there of the sound

I have found a supplier called polar parts ebay. They do the projectors for £170. I have emailed them asking if they do rhd versions so will let you guys no if so. There a german company so should be alright. Fingers crossed!
Small update. I got some sheet metal today to make a "homemade" heat shield. Itll only be a small cover to keep engine heat away, £6 for a sheet from wickes. Ill start it tomorrow and upload the progress. Itl only be a two piece component riveted. As long as heat is away from the air filter... im happy

Look forward to that as I tried and failed lol

Heatshield is on. Its nothing fancy as said but itll stop the rad fan blowing hot air at it and block some engine heat soak...
also been a naughty boy and got a 8000k hid kit... roll on projectors!
Im going to buy a 3000k hid set for fogs.. should look real nice when the front ends all complete and shes sat lower... but for now its time to uit the sack. Night all!

That would be great as Polar Parts have good prices on their stuff, have very reasonable P+P costs, and Simon and Stefanie are always very polite and helpful.
I'm pretty sure that the only difference between the LHD and RHD headlights is the shutter - I wonder if it would be easy to duplicate, if we had one from a RHD light in order to make a template?
The shutter has an adjustment to make them useable when driving on the "other side" of the road, but is not a full conversion. Pics below are LHD version. I assume a UK type would be mirror-imaged.
That surely is the only thing stopping is using them? Even if you got some sheet metal and fabricated up some new aim plates... I have sheet metal left over.. I have an idea, potentially expensive loss one lol.. but its an idea

All you'd need to do is bend those plates back to the other side and refit to the headlight and the pattern should be flipped. Probably would need to re-aim the units though
Just mark the shape of the arc on some card and match it when you bend the plates
Or you could go for the DOT cutoff which is flat

Yes, they are photos of the dismantled light from a US Volvo site, where they were adapting it for HID use. The cutoff shutter is curved inwards, as well as tapered, and I bet it would snap if you tried bending it!
Without seeing a UK-spec version, I'm guessing we want this:
instead of this:
I don't think it would snap, it wouldn't be a hard metal, just a cheap bit of sheet metal.
Like you say, there is no harm in making a copy out of some sheet offcuts. Maybe bend the original plate back flat and taking a card copy just in case

What would be most helpful is if someone who already has the projector lights here in Blighty could whip out a shutter and make a cardboard template!
LOL, indeed it would. Can't help there I'm afraid, I'm retrofitting aftermarket projector units into my 850
