M4.4 data logging

Rob got the free software from swede sp and made himself leads and stuff, tbh it's not my thing but he's pretty up on it now. He's mapped at least 4 cars now for others that have been dynod and can write maps taking into account mods already there but there are limits for him as he builds his own database.

However I don't think he's mapping anything at the moment as he is just working on his 244.

About 3 months ago Rob turned my 850 T5 into M4.4 and seemed to do a good job on the mapping, it's exactly what I wanted and very progressive, whilst maintaining the safety limitations

If the freeware suite and file has been used to map the car then the logging will work, if not it won't.

Just because the axis is in the same place it doesn't mean it's the right axis either. It probably is, but he only way to really know for sure is to have the Volvo damos or dissemble the file.

Yes, thanks for comment...just looking at the 611 (stock) BIN in WinOLS now.....:S.....found 16 maps and trying to match them up with XDF

Be prepared to spend a long time getting to grips with that, it's usually rewarding though.

no kidding! I made a new XDF (with only a few parameters) based on the 611 BIN...keeping quiet til I test it

Hello, has anyone ever eperienced "da errors" when connecting to the ecu from tunerpro ?

What could be the problem ? wrong xdf ? wrong adx ? I'm using rev5 files

Should I switch to 608 bin ?

My car has a 446 ecu but it's a manual V70r (2.3 T5)
