idle

hi all got a question... still getting idle issues. sorted most hoses. but before i change t.body gasket was wondering.. would a change of pipe diameter affect revs dropping on gear change. ie the silicone replacement is 3mm as apposed to 2mm over approx 1mtr. revs do not drop instantly..

still waiting on outcome of garbage truck damage :-(

The revs on 850s shouldn't drop instantly but shouldn't rise between gear changes. It keeps a very jerker ride if they drop quickly between gears. I use 4mm hose. What's the problem with the idle?

no prob on idle...
if you drive with your foor flat to floor everywhere the. i agree with revs holding but this makes driving normaly somewhat challenging
i agree that instant drop of revs would be jerky but they dont drop off for about 1second.

Yeah i know issue your describing, my R did it quite badly and current one will occasionally hold on a bit longer than it should.

Yeah not bad thanks, bit on and off with the car at the moment. How about you? Think theres an essex meet trying to be arranged for sometime soon, any interest in popping down?

Theres a meet on 21st feb near Loughton. If you look in the community meet section you'll see it. Mite find if you go to the essex meet someone maybe able to have a look.

will you be there mate. the car maybe in the sprayshop. cory are paying for repairs. will get running gear sorted out asap and hopefully on my way to a slightly better tidyer 855R
