Theres not many running the p2's at 400+bhp as it means changing the turbo to achieve this you should be able to get to around 350-370bhp by fitting bigger injectors, full 3" exhaust system, a bigger intercooler and a custom remap oh and either shim the liners or get darton liners fitted as the r's are known to split the liners at high boost(although not all R suffer this problem)

Thought the thread title said "Turning advice" which is a common problem on the R.

Stay clear of small multi-story car parks and narrow roads

19t, greens, 3" inlet, 3" downpipe with race cat, V70R catback, autotech map...

    310.2bhp / 333ft/lb

2016 Swedish Day UK "Best Modified Swede"

    Got an old discovery now.

I'd wait to see on that turbo as its very new so tuning potential hasn't been proven yet for longevity, you may want to speak to Dream3r or DTP on here as they are using that turbo

Yeah the Cavalii seems good on paper and is very fast in my car. Longevity is yet unproven, it's still in the development stage on my car. Awaiting a larger MAF once I find a filter that fits.

There has been a lot of concern by some that the exhaust housing is a Volvo TD04 one and is also too small. Here is what Cavalli say https://www.facebook.com/CavalliTurb...6241073917312/ .
We use a triple k modifed turbine housing with a 58mm turbine wheel. It is a little different than the factory R housing, but bolts directly to the stock downpipe and manifold. We use our CT3 compressor housing with a 55mm billet compressor wheel. We will be dyno testing shortly. We have to have a supporting tune in place as you know and we are working that out now. We have boost set to a maximum of 17 lbs during testing and we see max boost right at 3k rpms. If you have any other questions, feel free to call me at 185550turbo. Thanks Chris
As for the American's they have 399 WHP from it as seen here

Would I recommend it? Jury is still out on that, as above.

From what I can gleam from the states it's broken ringland issues. Same happens on the Ford 5 ports over here when being pushed. That's all hearsay though.

As for performance, on my car, here is a recent graph I took of a 3rd gear pull.

A tuned R with a K24 will rarely do more than 1020 kg/hr, I'm guessing this is around 1400kg/hr+ based off figures I've seen with this turbo and larger mafs.

This is with a shimmed block, 45mm IC, 630cc (at 3 bar) injectors, Feritta Exhaust, 3" DP and my own map.

(Yes on paper at least it's well over 400 BHP)

John is mapping my car with the CTB30VR turbo & the results are very good. I have just put in the AP racing clutch and SMF from Don at Kalmar Union rated at 440 lbs/ft or 600 Nm's it feels very much like an OEM clutch only slightly stiffer. If you are not loosing fluid it might be the clutch master cylinder. This went on mine.

This is what we'll be having fitted when the clutch gives up on our R, pretty sure it's the one DTP is using.

Another problem I had with mine is the cables on top of the gearbox jumped out on a fsst gear change I could not select any gear. Take your air box out and check the cables. Clutch kit £879

Not myself, Don's has provenance in at least one track car, most likely many more as well.

You'd be basically trying it out for the rest of us
