    light throttle hesitation

I've noticed when accelerating gently in the T5 there is some hesitation, hard to describe but almost a flat spot but then it picks up again. It carries on this 'on/off' procedure until I give it a bit more throttle then it's fine. WOT is also perfect.

    Any ideas?

    850 tdi - sorely missed.

Any way to check it or easier to just replace?

In lieu of someone with knowledge, there is me

The way I checked my TPS was by doing some data logging although that was on a M4.4 so had OBD plug. Sounds fancy but isn't - I just plugged my cable & laptop into the OBD socket and looked at the % throttle opening read in the software, compared to the actual position of throttle plate on the car. I used OBDWiz

This thread has some ideas for checking TPS if you have a multimeter
