    she's bleeding...

pretty much since i've had the 850 it's been leaving a couple of spots of oil when parked, nothing major but there nonetheless. tried to investigate that today and it appears to be coming from the turbo area. i've seen a few thread/posts regarding turbo oil return weeping but it seems to be coming from the top of the turbo, so i'm guessing soemthing relating to the oil feed?
    any common issues with this?
    thanks in advance

on top of the turbo or above the turbo? Might be back of the cam cover

Also check the cam seals , as when they leak the oil runs round the back of the engine, and appears as if it's coming from the turbo. They're an easy job to replace.

I haven't actually looked at the top of the turbo yet as it's a tad windy and wouldn't want to risk bonnet getting caught in it. these observations have been purely from underneath, i traced it back as far up as i could and it seems to come from the turbo area, there were oil droplets formed on the the lower of the turbo inlet. will investigate further when i can open bonnet.
If it's is cam cover, am i right in remembering the cover is also the camshaft carriers and is also gasketless?

yes mate a sealant is ued not a gasket. From the top you can reach over the engine and feel down the back, to see if it wet

The front one you need to take the distributor off, I think it'll only fit on one way, but to be on the safe side note the position of the rotor arm. The rear, take the cam position sensor off, if there's oil inside either then that cam seals shot.
