Upgrading from poverty spec

The Father in law's C70 is currently bog standard poverty spec. No trip computer, Tracs, prob no cruise either.

While I'm thinking of waving the go-faster stick at it, I was thinking of maybe seeing if I can get these things working.

The clock set has the display for the trip computer, but obviously only shows the clock.
I plugged a selector knob in, but nothing happened.

Just wandering how/if I can maybe get these things working?

The car's ME7 if that makes any difference.

Whatever you retro fit to me7 will need coding to the car I think mate.
It's not as easy as plug & play with the me7.

get some clocks from a ME7 car that have these items already, install them with the relevent switches and you will have cruise and trip computer, the only thing that cant be altered is the mileage of the donor car clocks.

i was fortunate and got some R clocks with only 200 miles difference

The S70 has it, when it comes on boost it doesn't stand a chance!

I'm pretty glad my v70 doesn't have Tracs. It wasn't nice on my saffy.

If its anything like the 850's clocks then the trip computer was a seperate item screwed to the back of the clocks.
