    How's your headlights?

I noticed earlier my lights aren't so great, I assume it's just on standard lamps so have you guys got any experience with uprated ones like the Halfrauds brilliant or whatever they're called?

Yep HIDs and if you can get some aftermarket projectors, it'll be even better.

I changed the glass on mine to new LHD ones and it improved the light output no end. HIDs rarely look good in old cars and they just blind everyone coming towards you and lights up the inside of the car your following.

My HID lights are much better than standard, you can get a cheapish set off flea bay

i gotta agree with that, hids on patterned glass are awful for other road users especially when the car they are on isnt worth as much as the hid kit they put it on

Fair comment, although there nowhere near as bad as HID's.

I have led bulbs in mine & am planning on a hid kit for main beam. Also have some 80w led fog light bulbs...
I like to see where I'm going. Lol
I have mine set down on the 2 setting & they are still really good. I changed my number plate bulbs, side lights & headlights with led for under £20 off the Chinese on eBay.

I'm not impressed with my lights, beam pattern not very good. Not very bright either (the lights not me). They look good in daylight but that's about it

I had black projectors on my Nautic R, and I was really disappointed with the lack of light hitting the road. Sold it before I managed to fit HID's, but my kit should be here for my C70(which now has the black projectors on her) tomorrow.

Wobbly had those ages ago and it was because of the beam pattern that he replaced them with the 2003 c70 crystal headlights which were much better.

I did swap my crystals from the C70 to the R before selling the R, and there was a noticeable difference for the better. Hope you appreciate that Rogo 1806!! Hoping that HID's will sort the black projectors on the C70 out when I fit them.
