    advice needed - front wipers

Well, just when I needed them my drivers side wiper has stopped working! That made the fun drive home in the snow more 'fun'.
Any ideas what could have caused it? A quick look at the side of the road and it appears loose but unsure how the mechanism works
Will investigate better tomorrow. If I'd have been any further than 0.5 mile from home it would have been left.

Make sure they are in the parked position and tighten the nut at the bottom of the arm onto the motor spline.

As above sounds like the wiper arm is just loose and needs tightening. Hopefully the splines are ok as if it's been working loose for a while it could have rounded it off.

You were right guys, it had worked loose. Splines are worn but still functional. Replaced both nuts with nyloc ones so shouldn't have any more problems
    Thanks
