Today's the day the internet falls over...!!

    Mytyres.co.uk ..... =Waste of time!!!!

    Tyres ordered 2nd May 2015.
Website allowed me to choose the following Tuesday for fitment, so all booked....
So my bank screwed me over first, but no worries 00:00 on Tuesday I get an email stating the tyres have now been paid for an will be shipped right away.

I log in today to find they the "SCHEDULED" for shipping 7th May 2015 for delivery by the 12th May!!!!!! What a waste of time!!!

I should have just gone to ATS and paid the full price. They can get them by tomorrow!!

At least I now have a wing mirror for the 960..

Recommend Eco-tyres in Southampton. Great shop with many tyres in stock from super budget(discuss in a moment) through to premier makes if needed. They could have matched or beaten my quote from myTyres.co.uk.

It's a brand new shop and was cool like a fast and furious lift outside.

Reason for recommending them was they advertise on eBay some extremely cheap tyres that I originally thought were part worns.
I messaged them to ask if they had four, which they replied to within minutes. Even better I turned up and found out for the price was for brand new tyres!!!!

So £188 for 4x 225/35/20 tyres for this weekend is a bargain!!!!

Let's just see how long they last..

    So had a busy morning:

So I had been teasing Facebook with these little babies..yes they are real V60 Polestar 20" alloys. Plus the Strut brace I had made in Polestar blue.

Fronts fitted OK with 10mm spacer and sacrifice of the inner wheel arch. No rubbing what so ever, but we are talking mm of clearance to the wing. If it becomes an issue I have a shell arch roller in the garage.

    Brace fitted:

Car finished, sorry for bad photo:

    Then I added 100bhp:

Many people have recommended longer studs. I just need to know what size the current bolts are and if they are press fit or screw fit.

You got them fitted, they look pretty good, just need to lower and ditch the useless gearbox. Just been doing some brakes for Charlie's 740, 4 pots, that's what you'll need next.

Well for a £390 car and two wishbones (fitted in advance) the cars surprised me today by passing its MOT with only two advisories (wiper blades and weak washer pump)....

Just need to decide on the poorly gearbox issue...

Anyone have a required parts list for a manual conversion?
    My guess is:
    Peddle box
    Cables or hydraulic pipework
    Gearbox M90
    Clutch
    Hydraulic slave cylinder
    Flywheel

Do I need different mounts? Or anything else?

Project 960 Polestar is going to pause whilst I do the V40 I think, plus I'm a bit reluctant to start a big project like this at the moment due to work being a bit of a thorn in my side at present..

Unless someone wants to take my money and do it for me..

Nope, no rubbing at all. I've been lucky to be able to retain full lock, but then that's the advantage of a RWD configuration.

I might if I lower it, but I actually think that they fit the wheel arch quite nicely, so lowering it isn't a modification I'm going to rush into.

TC - no I didn't buy these new, but I did pay 5 times the purchase price of the car getting these fitted.

It's a space thing for me get another car and I'll always be reluctant to destroy a perfectly good car for parts.
I don't think it's good for the longevity of the model, but I understand why as in parts I think the conversion would cost over £1000
