    Rear abs sensor

Hi folks. I wonder if anyone knows the cheapest place in the UK to get a rear abs sensor for a 1997 V70 T5.
So far everywhere I've looked seems to be £100+.
Hopoing I can find it a little cheaper.

Hi folks. Thanks for the replies. It's not the pump as we had a diagnostic unit on it that specifically said the rear right sensor.
I've actually found this on Ebay:
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3307075220...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

    Looks like a good deal.......hopefully.

    P.S. Love your 850 Craig.
P.P.S. Assuming it is an 850.......just looking again and wondering if my eyesight has gone.

I changed my S70 rear sensors last year using those Ebay specials, worked a treat and never had a problem in over12 months

So if the replacement sensors don't work for me, how is one of your repaired ecus?

Not quite right big lad, was an abs sensor fault but I threw a spanner in the works by getting a perfectly good abs ecu refurbed by a baffoon prior to changing the sensors which was sending sporadic abs faults on all wheels. Then changed the sensors on the rear and put another good ecu in and voila...sorted. Moral of the story is don't change 2 parts at once if you are chasing a fault coz the original abs ecu was perfect before being bodged up.
So those sensors were spot on and cured it at a very good price compared to Euro Car Parts, GSF or Volvo.

I would put money on it the original ecu was still suffering from dry joints its just a case of who ever you sent it to didnt actually repair the fault.

You may be very lucky and the new sensors may cure It but im only advising you that in my experience its normally 99% the ecu is at fault.

Well Pete, seems like I wasn't lucky. New rear sensors in and the light is still coming on. MOT runs out this month so need to sort something out.

There's a seller on Ebay who refurbs ABS units for £54.95. Does anyone have any first hand experience of his work?
