Give the system a good flush with a cheap fluid of the same specification before filling with the good stuff to make sure it's completely fresh.

There used to be issues with the synthetic fluid when I raced bikes. System has to be absolutely clear of all old fluid otherwise is contaminates.

I used motul iirc around £25 per litre 15-18 year ago then, but silicon fluid is good stuff.

I'll be changing the fluid in all my cars (oh focking joy) as it's something that's always over looked.

I'll wait for the braided lines as well (yes on all of them)
