Yep, I think there is some pics floating about but I was the first to use the renault brembo calipers.

Ive done 2 types of brembo 4 pot on 350mm and various brembos on:
    Xc90 336mm
    Xc90 316s
    S60 320mm
    S60r 330s

Rears 308s and 330s on brembo 4 pots or single pots including awd v70r p1s

Quite literally most things, I don't use the 350s with 4 pots, as I keep cars looking standard, although one set does fit under Volans.

Porsche 4 pots fit well, actually Charlie's 854 t5r (my old car) has 4 pot fronts and rears on it (I forgot about that).

It's not feesible to use the 320mm, you have to pull the caliper in from the edge, plus clearance issues are just too close (I find) to be safe.

You should try a 316mm if you going to do it allows more clearance.

But you've just said you may use a spacer, I'll dig out pics of the clearance with my set up I've got 10-12mm from the spokes or castings on the wheel, so more than enough to be a safe margin.

The 350s I have made, (under Volans, no spacers etc) have similar clearance to your set up and I'm on the fence about using them due to clearance. Although I'll revisit that in the summer.

Ive got Renault Brembo's and 320mm P2 discs. My wheels are 17" comets, everything is ready to fit, no idea how it will go though, Never did a dummy fit on the car.

I doubt it will fit as I tried 7 and 7.5j comets before, but as always it's close just depending on if you want a safety margin / spacer etc.

From what I remember they actually physically touch

I've just made some 320mm p2 large piston calipers fit under my 17 steelies on the 940 and accidentally made an adaptor bracket to allow running p2 brakes on it inc s60r 330s

Worth noting its the same mounting pattern just different offset to the 850s, I'll offer it up when I get a minute

Had an hour or so today, so hopefully fixed the clearance issue for 350mm brembo 4 pots under Volans (no spacer).

Someone has my mock up hub so can't check until I buy a spare, but problem should be solved.

Renault Brembos under Titans look great!
I'd be conscious of clearance with wheel weights though, personally, I wouldn't take to a caliper with a grinder or a file. If you need to do that, you're using the wrong caliper for the application.
Pete's oem 320mm brakes are really neat too and are one of those unusual factory options that were fairly uncommon - probably less common even than the AP 5200 calipers and rotors that could have been opted for when new.

The S40/V50T5 AWD & LS-LV Ford Focus ST conversion is a nice and simple conversion if, like me, you just really want to stay with a factory 17" wheel - if you can or want to go bigger, the options open up significantly.
It's not the conversion you'd choose if your car is destined solely for track day duties - for that you'd use a 'real' 4 or 6 piston caliper, rather than a sliding type. It is however, a massive improvement over the 280mm and 302mm factory options and, with good pads and rotors, will be happy enough to do some track work.

Here's a pic of the caliper and rotor mounted -

    Clearance with a 17" 'Propus C' wheel -

    Clearance with a 17" 'Titan' wheel -

Stick-on weights located on the inside of the spokes will not clear, however they would if they were stuck on in the 'open area' between the spokes (though this would be fairly ugly) and an even better idea would be clamp-on/punch-on weights on the rear rim lip.

For reference, here's how they fill out a 19" rim in comparison to the factory volvo options.

280mm rotors with standard calipers. Aftermarket 19" wheel. C70 -

302mm rotors with standard calipers. Aftermarket 19" wheel. C70 -

320mm rotors with calipers sourced from LS-LV Ford Focus XR5 (ST to those of you in the UK). Aftermarket 19" wheel. C70 -

I just made up a bracket to use existing 850 caliper on 316s. Fits under titans etc will post up pics once I've fiddled a bit more.
