Ok I'll admit it I have s80 D5 Executive and as much as a I hate oil burners its not bad. I would have much rather had the petrol 6 pot but this one will do for now.

The problem I do have with it is the suspension is far to soft and the suspension crashes on bumps and it scraps on rough back roads as you go over bumps etc.

I have already sorted some dampers for it but I need to do something with the springs. Clearly I don't want to lower it as I'm happy with the ride height. What my plan is to make some new springs to retain original ride height but around 20-25% stiffer so that it will be firmer on the road and much more comfortable to drive.

Are standard height stiffer springs something of interest to others? The more springs I make in one the cheaper they become.
