    Q time s40 t4 issue

Hello all. Just purchase another s40 T4 v reg and got a slight issue with it. Upon start up it's revs up as normal then cuts out compleat yet at about 10s. I have taken off the air flow meter and it seems to run sweet as and idle great too. I know it can't be as simple as just getting a new air flow meter so any ideas welcome.
    Many thanks. Mike

Ok slightly longer answer... Yes it should be. My V40 would starts and idle for about 5seconds, then it would start hunting for revs. It took about 2-3mins for it to clear until it started to idle correctly.

I diagnosed it when I swapped the MAF to another car.

Bluetooth OBD11 reader with Torque (or REV on an iPhone).engine management light might go off on its own.

SRS light I believe is common to be a seat plug. The Torque app doesn't picj this sort of thing up, but my local MOT station diagnosed it and fixed it.

Hello. I was in garage today and asked about srs light and he said there's a possibility that it's a code not matching from the seats as they have been changed over and that each seat is coded different once you reply got back in ??? As they have this on pugs. Sounds to me a bit smelly of ££££e but unsure on this now. Is this something anyone's heard of ? Running a diagnostic check tomorow to see what comes out if that.

I blew my SRS module when I removed my passenger seat. £400 from Volvo and a fault clear later it was fixed. A good diagnosis computer should be able to pinpoint which seat is causing the issue.
