    what size wheel nuts.......

    As the title says what size are the wheel nuts on a 83 240 ?

    1996 850 T5 AWD - Self tuned M4.4 ECU with COP`s, B5254T ( S60R internals in a 850 block ) ostrich 2.0 , VXR injectors @ 3.8 bar, K24 turbo with a 6+6 compressor wheel, 3.25" MAF, top mounted Dump Valve, RN Exhaust manifold, 3" downpipe with 200 cell cat, 2.75" Stainless exhaust, Brembo calipers, S60R brake discs, stainless RIP kit, 3" Throttle body,

    I`ve tried a 19mm which just starts on the nuts but wont stay on when trying to undo them

    But 20mm is to big

    I was wondering if they are imperial.

    19mm, you've got a socket set, try going through them until you find one that fits.

    That would be the easiest but if for some reason they are imperial the metric sockets just wont grab right our 88 240 uses 21mm nuts

    I`ve tried a 19mm and it does fit.

    Just seen your ebay link, as they are UNF that makes them a 3/4 AF socket.

    After a quick internet search it seems some nuts are metric and others are imperial and with your being a early one it may possibly be imperial you have
