what have I done to my 940 help

I had locked myself out of my 940 I got in to it with the help of a mate no damage, all good but the alarm went off I got the alarm fob and blip nothing alarm still going off.
Right I think the batteries must be dead so I get new batteries for the alarm fob and blip and still nothing how do i disable the alarm. Im really busy with the band and need the car MOT asap anyone got any ideas......

Ha Ha Ha That really funny I must update my cars as the Fiat has gone to heaven with my help.

The missus broke down in it. I went to help her and when pushing off the road this person drove into the side of it writing it off.

Did really like that car.

Now got another 147 jtd cracking car as well but need my estate on the road Help

Thanks guys for all the help, it`s the bottom one. I going to have a look for the fuse today. Just so busy I might just sell it as it is and get a van.

I know it sounds stupid but with the T4 V40 if when you try to enter with the key `cos the fob doesn`t work the alarm goes off.... you get in with the key and start the engine within so many seconds and then the alarm turns off and resets.

It may not happen on your 940 model but an alarm is nothing to do with immobiliser!

You have the Volvo Guard Alarm II (or 2) system.

You could try the fob re-pairing procedure, though don't know if it would work with the alarm going off.

you can get a new fob from Volvo from £45. Just check you get the right one - there are two identical ones with different part numbers. Have a chat with RUFE & I'm sure they'll sort you out. Cheers, morgan

Hi guys back again and going to try and get the 940 sorted. I'm going to Le Mans next year I it. So after I got it started I need to get about 250 bhp out of it, going to be chasing a Honda S2000 and then there's Mad Friday. Its got a MBC. I guess breathing will make a lot of difference budget of about 500 quid
