    Rear axle bush replacement

The rear axle bushes could do with being replaced on my T5, I'm undecided whether to by the tool and do it myself or take it to the dealer from them to do. Does anyone have some thoughts to share about this, as in, how involved, are there any other parts to replace at the same time etc? I haven't got any prices yet but heard a figure of £500 for Volvo to do it.

    Thanks.

Done this a few times now but with having the lift I just drop the axel without buying the correct puller tool easiest way is to drill round the bush as it is a tight fit which then allows it to come out easy.
With the correct tool just do one side at a time and the axel can stay attached to the car.

Then with a drift and a little lube knock the new one in square as they are a tight fit

    Heres the correct tool

And here are the inner bushes I cannot seem to find any pics of when I did them but there easy to replace
