    So, just curious

What would you guys do if you owned my black T5R mods wise, ive been stairing at it on the driveway after its weekly clean now for about 2 hours, idly flicking through old projects on here and some things ive discovered, 1 i seem to like a olive T5R MUCH more than my black, and 2 i got no idea how i actually want it to look! keep titans, differant color rims, splitters, grilles or what? i got a basic ish idea for the performance side so thats not the issue, its just. Every time i look at it, its just not quite there that i can look at my own car n say yes, i like it, look at other's amazing examples on here and love them!

So what would you do with this black beast?
    (Eyelashes are gone now)

Splitter on the front, clear indicators then remove moose stickers. Done

Loads of people will suggest changing/painting the front grill but for me I'd keep that one on that car.

i think its already been lowered? (Verry badly) they are certainly not standard springs on the thing. as it chews the inside arches to pieces

Only thing I'd do is loose the tints never liked them but they do look nice on ur car and last of all is 100% chunky roof rails leave the wheels alone certainly dont go darker maybe just a shade lighter if they're ready for a refurb

Thing is, you can look at someone else's car and say "that's real nice" but they're probably still not happy with it.

I think yours looks fine as it is.

Once you start messin with it, it's a slippery slope.

that's my exact problem currently. i can look at 99% of other P1 cars and some P2's (Yours being one of them, im a picky sod) and say yes that looks really good and id own that. but the owner is in my exact place. staring at it thinking there's something missing

Sell it. Buy a green one. otherwise you risk trying to scratch an itch you can never reach. It's a nice car & should shift quite nicely for decent money.

yeah. there was a olive auto i was thinking of buying ages ago n doing a manual swap on it but that got broken by the same guy who owned my black, was gonna break it apart too if it didn't sell. but that's what i fear is i get a green one n i don't like it then ill have sold this black one that isn't in bad condition if im truthful. ive seen a lot worse ones. and seen as many much better ones around here!

These old beasts are getting on for 20years old now. The good ones are good generally because a lot of money has been spent maintaining them [servicing, etc..] - just don't waste yours on a car you don't really feel the love for...ship it on & before you know it a green one will pop up & you'll be like a pig in the proverbial....just my opinion

Alternatively, practice on this car first - add value by doing some sensible value adding modifications [eg 302 conversion, uprated bushings/suspension parts] etc.., full service & attending to any bodywork issues. Then sell it on once your done, the extra value will allow you to buy a better green one!

The other thing im still contemplating and that get a lot of mixed reviews, is red back badges or silver. i got a set of silvers and know they will look good n standard. but it seems everyone on VT likes red badges (Nosh spotted me on the M1 n posted it so they saw the back) heres what i mean. the green is that other T5R in leeds and the stickers on the back are my fur con stickers, probably gonna get rid of the small circle one on the back as its already comming off anyway!

Sell it buy a green one.

I've had 2 black 850rs and must say it's not my favorite colour.

A green with good body work looks nice.

Sell it me,lol.. I used to own a black T5-R, I sold it because I'd gotten bored with it and wanted to start modifiying it. Still wish I'd kept it,lol. If you insist on modifying it then, lower it, Paint the centre of the grill Satin Black, add a front splitter, Maybe V70 door handles. There's not much more you can do without going OTT...

    Don't buy a green one, they're common.
