The hardest part about these pods is working out how to mount them! They come with no clips or trim attachments.

I used glass fixing adhesive. It comes on a roll and is incredible sticky and easy to work with. You just got to put it in the right places. Mines held perfectly for two years now and the best bit is.....it's re useable!! As i have had to remove mine twice already to fix a boost leak and replace the gauge.

I paid £250 for my CF one years from RT's for the S70. It now lives on Rob's 850, but is now black as it had to be repaired after a rabbit decided to commit suicide with it.

I have one of TC's sat in the garage ready to go on the 850. I actually think it's thicker and more sturdy than the original CF one I had.

I have the front splitter, PPC style tailgate panel and door gauge pod for the S60 from Carbon Fiber Works. Gonna get onto them and order a door pod for the 850.

Yeah, I like the mirror gauge pods.

Love the engine bits too, too expensive for me though

I've always like the look of proper carbon but its bleedin expensive stuff, and for what you pay for it's very thin. With fiberglass if you lay up 2 or 3 layers you can get a decent thickness however with carbon evern 4 or 5 layers is still barely the thickness of a sheet of paper. To get the same sort of thickness and stability you need to start using fillers like kevlar honeycomb etc and then another couple of layers of carbon, this will make it oober stiff and strong but the price would be enormous. Carbons around £30 a square metre now where glass is sold by weight, so you get a hell of a lot more of it for less (around £3 a metre)

Just looking at my pod looks like one layer of CF then looks like glass-fibre been sprayed in.
