rear main seal

im doing the rear main seal on my 850 t5 as the engine is already out, volvo supplied a different looking seal, I have fitted it but not sure if anyone has used this one or if its wrong? Been informed its a superseeded version and its incorrect but wondering if anyone has used this version?

I wouldn't chance it, get an original one from elsewhere,

Well it turns out this is the Volvo superseded version but it no good, Shem confirmed he had the same and the ID is 0.5mm different and leaks so I'm glad I questioned it before its all back together. So anyone doing a RMS make sure you don't get/use this one

Where did you get the correct one from?

Ordered one from partsforvolvo, will have to see if its the right one with the felt on the outside
